If you regularly post comments on blogs and other websites you might find that your time and effort is being wasted especially if you have been marked rightly or wrongly as a comment spammer.

Most blogs and sites that accept comments from the public use a tool called Akismet to check whether a comment is spam or not. Akismet uses a variety of methods to identify spam such as using feedback from site owners, analysing the comment content and using blacklists of known email addresses, websites and IP addresses that spammers use.

If you are worried that your comments are not being posted then you can now use this comment spam analysis tool to check whether your details have been flagged by Akismet as spam. All fields are optional but at least one value must be supplied to perform comment spam analysis.
